This week’s film is all about steak — cooked fast, over fire, and without fuss.
It’s the loud, direct way to do it. No lid. No guesswork. Just heat, control, and a bit of confidence.
There’s a lot of received wisdom around steak — when to flip it, whether to rest it, how to handle the heat. Some of it’s useful. Some of it… less so.
So this is how I cook it.
Hot coals, constant flipping, and cooking to temperature rather than time. It’s simple, but it only works if you understand what the heat is actually doing.
